Start early, one room at a time
Give yourself a couple of weeks. Tackle one room or closet at a time so it never feels overwhelming, and start with storage spaces like the garage, basement and spare room. That's where the most forgotten stuff hides.
Use three piles: keep, donate, toss
If you haven't used something in a year and it isn't sentimental, it probably doesn't need to come with you. Be honest about duplicates, old electronics and anything broken.
Sell or donate the good stuff
Furniture, clothes and household items in good shape can go to a local donation center or be sold online. Do it early so it's gone before the totes arrive.
Let us haul the rest
Old furniture, broken appliances and piles of junk don't have to slow you down. JC's Junk Removal can clear it out so you're only packing what you're keeping.
Fewer things, fewer totes
A lighter move can mean a smaller tote package, fewer trips and a faster unpack on the other end.
